6. University of Wisconsin: Camp Randall Stadium

Incredibly, Camp Randall Stadium has been the home of the Wisconsin Badgers since 1895, though the stadium itself was not fully functional until 1917. Since then, the stadium has become not only the oldest in the Big Ten but the fifth-biggest and one of the hardest places for any away team to play.

Currently, the stadium seats over 80,000 fans, and on game day, it is one of the more exciting venues in the country. Located on an old Civil War training ground, Camp Randall Stadium has been home to some of the longest winning streaks the Big Ten has seen. The program has been downright dominant at home since the 2006 college football season.

From 2006 through 2008, the Badgers won 16 straight games at home and followed that up by reeling off 21 straight from 2009 through 2012. From 2016 through last season, Wisconsin has won 12 straight games and playing in the Big Ten, which is very hard to accomplish. In all, they have had five runs of 10 straight home wins.

In Nov. 2005, Camp Randall Stadium set their record in attendance for a single game, as they packed over 83,000 fans for an Iowa game. Whether the fans are going crazy to “Jump Around,” or just screaming their heads off on a big third down, this is one of the better home-field advantages in football. It is a big reason the program has won over 700 games in its existence.
