College Football: 25 best home-field advantages in the game today

3. University of Oregon: Autzen Stadium
The Oregon Ducks have become one of the premier football teams in the Pac-12, consistently vying for a spot in the Rose Bowl. In 1967, the program opened up its current venue, Autzen Stadium. Since then, it has become one of the better home-field advantages in the country.
The most impressive thing about Autzen Stadium is that it is not a place that can seat a ton of fans, but it certainly sounds like it. Former legendary Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr once said that when the Oregon faithful get going, the Big House, Michigan’s home field, is no match for the crowd noise.
Autzen Stadium is a sunken field. When the fans get going, a phenomenon called the “Autzen Bounce” gets going. The phrase “It never rains on Autzen Field,” came to be because of the distinct home-field advantage the Ducks have playing inside its walls. Though it only seats around 54,000 fans, it once reached 127.2 decibels when Oregon took on the USC Trojans.
The attendance record for an Oregon football game was 60,055 fans. That was set when the Ducks beat No. 18 ranked Arizona State after hosting College GameDay. From the fans singing along to “Shout” after the third quarter, to watching the Duck do push-ups after every score, Autzen Stadium is a tremendous place to see a football game, especially if you are a fan of the Ducks.
