College Football: 25 best home-field advantages in the game today

2. Clemson University: Memorial Stadium
To say that the Clemson Tigers have been the most dominant team in college football over the last three seasons would be an understatement, as they have come away with two of the last three national titles. They have had to beat the Alabama Crimson Tide for both of those titles, making their run even that more incredible.
Since arriving at Clemson, head coach Dabo Swinney has done a tremendous job shaping the Tigers into a national power. While he is a tremendous coach, recruiter, and mentor, the Tigers do have the luxury of playing in front of some of the best fans in all of college football inside Death Valley.
In recent years, Memorial Stadium has become a place where opposing teams go to die, as the Tigers have been nearly impossible to beat. Even before Swinney arrived on campus, Clemson was a tough out at home, posting a winning percentage of 74 since the Stadium came to be between 1941 and 1942.
The largest stadium in the ACC, Memorial Stadium can get incredibly loud. During a 2007 game against Boston College, the decibel level reached 133. This is not only one of the better home-field advantages in college sports, but it is also one of the better fan experiences as well. Thanks to the talent Swinney puts on the field every year, this advantage is not going anywhere any time soon.
