When Tiger Stadium first opened up back in the 1920s, it sat only 12,000 fans, but the stadium in itself has come a long way since then. It can now seat over 100,000 LSU fans.
The seating capacity inside Tiger Stadium is the fifth-most in the NCAA and is the sixth-biggest in the entire world.
During the history of LSU’s run at Tiger Stadium, the program has put together a .716 winning percentage, while being dominant at night.
LSU has been playing night games since 1931. Since then, they have won .773 percent of their games.
Between the tailgating, the band, and the rowdy fans that fill Tiger Stadium up to capacity every game day, the LSU Tigers have a distinct advantage over any school that tries to come in and play them.
