This is the typical bye week matchup that comes between the games with Georgia and Alabama. These games serve as a complete halt to the momentum of the college football season.

Next week is rivalry week, what is supposed to be the greatest week of the season. For years now, many SEC programs have chosen to make this, the week prior, the most boring slate of the year.

Many people point to the Appalachian State upset over Michigan as a reason to keep these games. That was a cool moment in the sport’s history, but for every one of those, there are a hundred 40-point blowouts.

The higher ups in college football seem clueless on how to stop the attendance decrease. Eliminating games like this would be a good place to start.

Prediction: Win (8-3, 4-3)
