1. This team looks primed to win at Texas

This was a game LSU expected to win, and now they prepare for a game with serious College Football Playoff implications.

LSU dominated every facet of the game today, and has all the reason to believe they can beat Texas on the road in week two.

The biggest question marks heading into the game will be the lack of production needed from the secondary today, as Georgia Southern only attempted 11 passes on the evening. The second question mark is the discipline, as they committed seven penalties on the game for 70 yards.

It wasn’t a big deal in this one, but a better team like Texas will take advantage.
