2. It’ll take Scott Satterfield some time

Scott Satterfield is a winner — he won at Appalachian State.

When he took over for his mentor and predecessor the Mountaineers, they went 4-8 in their last year in FCS. When they transitioned to FBS and the Sun Belt, Satterfield proceeded to win three conference championships in five years and four consecutive bowl games. These are the winning ways he’s bringing to Louisville.

When that happens, the Power Five comes a callin’. And Satterfield got the call from Louisville.

When you watch a Satterfield team, it’s prepared, efficient and physical. You will see glimpses of this against Notre Dame. Louisville will be ready, and will play hard and physical. Since they are playing at Cardinal Stadium, don’t expect Notre Dame to run and hide early.

However, as it was already mentioned; this is year one for Satterfield. it will take time to build his program. What you will see during the game is the talent disparity.
