2. Texas’ defense will give LSU fits

Caden Sterns put together one of the best defensive back performances last season as a true freshman for Texas. Sterns made the first team preseason Big 12 team and started this year off with 8 tackles and a pass deflection.

Joe Burrows looked great in his first outing this season but he had accuracy issues a year ago against stiffer competition. If the Texas defensive line can get pressure up front, I believe he runs into those same issues again.

I think Sterns locks down his receiver and Joe Burrows makes a mistake at a pivotal point in the game. Sterns had four interceptions a year ago and his ball-hawking skills show again this Saturday when the Longhorns need it most.
