1. Continue the backfield success

It was no question that UCF had one of the best running back duos in the country.

Speedster Adrian Killins, silky Greg McCrae and utility man Otis Anderson wreaked havoc on defenses all of last season, and Week 1 showcased an embarrassment of riches. To go along with the three, redshirt sophomore Bentavious Thompson showed off his skill, rushing for 64 yards on six carries, nearly 11 yards per rush.

UCF as a team rushed for 338 total yards in the game, with those four players accounting for 263 of those yards. Killins, Anderson and McCrae all also found the end zone in Week 1.

While Thompson has a crowded backfield to work through, depth is never anything to complain about for the Knights. The three were expected to give the Knights a strong running game to lean on, but adding a fourth back means the rich just continue to get richer as they progress into the season.
