1. Chase Young is the best DE in the country

In 2018, Ohio State’s Nick Bosa was one of the best defensive ends in the country. As a result, he was drafted second overall in the 2019 NFL Draft by the San Fransisco 49ers. The Buckeyes are in the middle of producing another top-10 NFL Draft pick from the defensive line position.

Chase Young, a true junior, has taken over for Nick Bosa as the Buckeyes’ dominant enforcer off the edge. His run defense is impeccable, while still having a great sense for getting to the quarterback. In our first 2020 NFL Mock Draft, we had Chase Young being selected number three overall behind Tua Tagovailoa and Justin Herbert.

Last season, Nick Bosa sat out the last portion of the season due to an injury and to prepare for the NFL. Hopefully Chase Young will be able to stay healthy and play his full junior season in an effort to help his team make the College Football Playoff.
