1. Buckeyes are ready for the tough part of the schedule

Ohio State has one last non-conference game next week against Miami-Ohio. After that, the fun truly begins. The Buckeyes will travel to Nebraska, Northwestern, and Michigan. They’ll host Michigan State, Wisconsin, Maryland, and Penn State. From here on out, the intensity is turned up.

This is the stretch of the year in which which Fields and Day will truly be tested. The question now is, are they ready?

All signs say yes. Through three games, this team has handled their business like a team full of veterans. Against respectable Power Five foes in Cincinnati and Indiana, the Buckeyes have absolutely moved the ball at will. They’ve completely shut down opposing offenses. Ohio State is, unquestionably, ready.

The remainder of the schedule certainly gets tougher. It’s possible that the Buckeyes hit a land mine along the way. However, the Big Ten is once again the Buckeyes’ for the taking.
