College Football Rankings 2019: Projected Top 25, Week 4 – Clemson makes statement
By Zach Bigalke
After a slow start in Bloomington against Indiana, No. 6 Ohio State ramped up the pressure in the second quarter to go into the locker room up 30-10 at halftime. Indiana never moved the scoreboard in the second half, and the Buckeyes ran away with a 51-10 road victory that could push them back up into the top five of the AP Top 25 this week.
J.K. Dobbins and Master Teague III both ran for more than 100 yards for the Buckeyes. Dobbins led the way with 193 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, adding 14 yards and a receiving touchdown on a pair of catches for good measure. Justin Fields went 14-of-24 for 199 yards and three passing touchdowns and punched in another score on the ground.
The Buckeyes claimed a critical first Big Ten win for the season before rounding out their non-conference schedule with a Week 4 warm-up against in-state MAC foe Miami University. A trip to Lincoln on September 28 will present their next big test that will help show how far Ohio State might climb in the national picture this season.
