Georgia blew out Arkansas State in a 55-0 shutout, showing exactly why they remain among the top five teams in the country. The Bulldogs dominated their overmatched Sun Belt opponent in all phases of the game, gaining 656 total yards of offense while holding the Red Wolves to only 220 yards when they had the ball.
Jake Fromm had a breakout performance in just over one half of play. The Bulldogs quarterback threw for 279 yards and three touchdowns on 17-of-22 passing, leading his team to a 41-0 lead before coming out of the game following a touchdown on the opening drive of the third quarter. The ground game also showed up strong, finishing with 268 yards in a committee effort averaging more than eight yards per carry.
Georgia heads into their Week 4 showdown against Notre Dame on a high note, with every unit humming on all cylinders. After that the Bulldogs will get a much-needed bye and return to the field for the start of SEC play in a road game against Tennessee on October 5.
