player. Pick Analysis. Oklahoma. 58. Scouting Report. WR. CeeDee Lamb. 6

This is a deep and talented group of receivers, and while Jeudy is head-and-shoulders better than the others, there’s still a legitimate chance that we get two, even three, wide receivers selected in the Top-10 of the 2020 draft.

Washington is likely to look for a No. 1 wide receiver to pair with Dwayne Haskins for the future, and with Jeudy off the board one pick ahead, they’ll look at the next best thing in Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb. The Sooners wideout has been extremely productive during his collegiate career, and hasn’t missed a beat in his three seasons jumping from Baker Mayfield to Kyler Murray to now Jalen Hurts.

Lamb is a good route-runner, but his best trait is probably his ball-skills. He has soft hands and a preternatural ability to go up and make the contested catch in traffic. He’s tough to stop in the open field, displaying excellent vision to make big plays after the catch.

The one concern with Lamb might be a lack of top-end speed, but that has never seemed to hinder him in college, and his ability to make plays with the ball in the air makes up for that perceived weakness.

Washington might also consider shoring up its offensive line to protect its quarterback of the future in Haskins.
