The Volunteers finally made it into the win column on Saturday. Against Chattanooga, Tennessee was victorious by a score of 45-0. Jarrett Guarantano went 7-for-8 for 142 yards and three touchdowns. Ty Chandler added 46 yards and a score on the ground.

The focus now turns to the rivalry game with Florida. The Gators lost starting quarterback Feleipe Franks to injury on Saturday, but Kyle Trask proved to be a tremendous replacement. The Volunteers face a tough test on Saturday.

Derek Mason’s team was off this weekend, their drop is due to Arkansas’ win on Saturday.

The Commodores will play host to LSU in week four. Vanderbilt’s defense is giving up 332.5 passings yards and 179.5 rushing yards per game in this young season. Against a revamped, revitalized Tiger offense, this game has serious blowout potential. Vanderbilt is set to likely start the season at an 0-3 mark, with an 0-2 SEC record already.
