2. Gamecocks showcase a balanced attack

South Carolina has 1,504 total yards of offense this season and 756 of those yards are came on the ground and 748 through the air.

Three South Carolina receivers have double digit receptions and over 100 yards receiving. Leading the group is Bryan Edwards with 15 grabs for 198 yards and two touchdowns. Tight end Kyle Markway has emerged as a red zone target as well with two touchdowns of his own thus far.

Four running backs have over 100 yards of rushing for South Carolina. Rico Dowdle sits atop the group with 251 rushing yards on 33 attempts. Tavien Feaster is second on the team with 169 yards on 29 attempts. Freshman Kevin Harris rushed six times for 147 yards against Charleston Southern in Week 2 but didn’t see the field against the Crimson Tide last week.

Look for South Carolina to have a very balanced offensive game plan coming into this one. They will undoubtedly mix in some RPOs and some play actions to keep the defense on their toes.

Ryan Hilinski has shown the ability to throw the deep ball as well. If he catches the defense sleeping, he will make them pay. Shi Smith is the speedy receiver of the group to watch on the big play attempts.
