1. The sky is the limit for Auburn

One win can be written off as a fluke. In all fairness, against Oregon, Auburn’s offense had large stretches of struggle, and it took a late touchdown strike to win.

On Saturday, though, the Tigers showed that they are for real. There were no heroics required, as often are on the plains. Against the Aggies, the Tigers looked like a legitimate threat to everyone in college football.

The defense was absolutely dominant for most of the game. When it comes to pressuring the quarterback, the Tigers might have the best defensive line in the nation.

Auburn dominated the line of scrimmage offensively as well. That was especially true late in the game, when with a lead, the Tigers leaned on the ground game to churn out yards and, more importantly, clock.

It goes without saying, but the schedule is still brutal. There’s still LSU, Georgia, Florida, and Alabama.

Do the Tigers sweep those four games? It’s unlikely. However, after Saturday, it doesn’t feel so crazy after all.
