2. Vanderbilt kept fighting, despite being down big

Even though Vanderbilt got blowout, they fought the whole game and even started off the game strong. They drove down the length of the field and was able to score the games first touchdown to take the lead 7-0. However, that was the only lead they would have.

This loss drops Vanderbilt to 0-3 on the season and their bowl chances are dropping each week. Vanderbilt’s defense has a lot to work on as they weren’t even competitive against LSU’s offense. Yes, Vanderbilt had a defensive touchdown, but that was more of right place at the right time.

Joe Burrow and LSU’s running back fumbled at the goal-line and the Vanderbilt defender fell on the ball in the end-zone for a touchdown. Besides that play, Vandy’s defense got smoked.

The offense for Vanderbilt fought and running back Ke’Shawn Vaughn had over 100 yards rushing and several touchdowns. He was able to bust several big runs and was a bright spot for Vanderbilt’s offense.

While Vanderbilt could be in trouble the rest of the year, they will at least fight each game and have a shot to come away with a few upset wins.
