Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. won 35-14 vs. No. 11 Michigan. 9/28 vs. Northwestern. 809. Wisconsin Badgers. 9. player

Wisconsin pushed their way into the top 10 of the AP Top 25 this week with a 35-14 demolition of No. 11 Michigan that pealed out as a warning to the rest of the country. The Badgers defense dominated the Wolverines, holding Jim Harbaugh’s backfield to just 40 net rushing yards on 19 carries while forcing a pair of interceptions.

There was a scare as Jonathan Taylor left the game in the second quarter with what was reported as cramping, but he returned in the second half to finish the day with 203 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries. Jack Coan didn’t have to throw the ball much for the Badgers, but when he did he went 13-of-16 for 128 yards to keep the chains moving.

Wisconsin stays home next weekend as they welcome Northwestern to Camp Randall Stadium. The Badgers will look to unseat the defending Big Ten West champions and continue to make a charge up the Top 25 ahead of the first release of the College Football Playoff selection committee rankings.
