2. Jake Fromm does it again

Jake Fromm has been doubted so much. For many, in a quarterback room with Jacob Eason and Justin Fields, he was the least exciting option that Georgia could have settled on. He’s had apmple opportunity to silence the doubters.

He did it in the Rose Bowl against Baker Mayfield. Twice, he’s had the Bulldogs within a score of taking down Alabama. On Saturday, once again, Fromm showed up, and delivered, in a huge spot.

On the night, he went 20-of-26 for 187 yards and a touchdown. Those numbers aren’t flashy, but that’s what makes Fromm so good. He doesn’t try to do too much. He doesn’t force bad decisions. He has that aforementioned running game. He has elite weapons. He doesn’t have to take over a game.

Fromm understands that all he has to do is get the ball in the hands of Demetris Robertson, Lawrence Cager, or any of the other weapons the Bulldogs on the outside. When that happens, this offense is at its best.

He’s gotten the “game manager” label, but Fromm doesn’t care. He just managed another huge Bulldog victory. For Fromm and Georgia, that’s all that matters.
