2. Stop blaming Kellen Mond for everything going wrong

We have now outlined the biggest liability for this team right now, the offensive line. If that isn’t enough to quell an overreaction that simply needs to stop, I am not sure what is. There are a whole grouping of people that want to blame Kellen Mond for this loss.

Could certain parts of his game have been better? Sure, he was far from perfect. However, he was outplayed by the new No. 7 team in the country, they are there for a reason, y’all.

In the end, he finished 31-for-49 for 335 passing yards and two touchdowns. He didn’t throw an interception. He didn’t fumble the ball. He lead the team in rushing with 26 yards. He put everything on the line in the fourth quarter to try to force his team to come back against Auburn. The Aggie quarterback did everything he could to win that game, but without support the team lost.

That all being said though, it is time for Mond to stop saying he’s the best quarterback in the SEC. He is not the best quarterback in the league by any means. He needs a lot of work and growth before that happens, but at this point, he’ll likely stay for his senior year, so there is no reason he can’t grow into one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC.
