What happened with “eventful” ACC football this past week. Did the Mack Brown train get derailed as North Carolina comes back down to earth?

This week on as the ACC turns: Florida State blew a lead, but didn’t give up. Their comeback was fueled by Cam Akers and — Alex Hornibrook?

The Virginia Cavaliers forgot they had a football game for about a quarter and a half; they remembered and put Old Dominion to bed. It wasn’t pretty, though.

The NC State Wolfpack held on against the Cardinal — no, not the ones from Louisville, the other ones and not the ones from Palo Alto (they’re the Cardinal, you know the color, not the bird). Oh, you don’t know any other Cardinals? They’re the ones from Muncie, Ind.: Ball State. Yes, they have a football team.

With all due respect to the “Textile Bowl” or “The Rivalry that really ain’t”, here are your ACC power rankings heading into Week 5.
