Jake Fromm. 9. Pick Analysis. Georgia. player. 56. Scouting Report. QB

The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the most average teams in the NFL for what seems like an eternity now. And they’ve been led by an average quarterback, Andy Dalton. This is a prime situation for the Bengals as the draft Georgia quarterback, Jake Fromm.

Fromm would not be expected to start, and while Dalton isn’t the greatest, he is still a veteran quarterback with a lot experience and some success in this league and would be a great mentor for Fromm to learn from.

The Georgia junior has been in the spotlight since his freshman year, when he led the Georgia Bulldogs to a SEC Title and the National Championship Game. Fromm possesses typical qualities you’d want in your franchise quarterback, but his ability to put the ball right where it needs to be, especially on back shoulder throws, is better than some quarterbacks already in the league.

This is a win-win situation for both parties.
