2020 NFL Mock Draft, Week 5: SEC dominates first round

As mentioned before, the Oakland Raiders will most likely use one of their two first round picks on a wide receiver, and with their first pick going to the defense, the Raiders select wide receiver, Laviska Shenault Jr., out of Colorado. Shenault is simply a playmaker and would be that much-needed spark to Jon Gruden’s offense.

From post routes to jet sweeps, Shenault is the five-tool receiver to relieve pressure off Derek Carr.

One of my favorite traits of Shenault is his ability to use every inch he has. From his height to his reach, he is not afraid to lay it all out and make touch catches while running full stride down the field. The Raiders have had talent at receiver but haven’t been able to keep them around long enough but with this draft pick, the Raider offense will find their missing piece when it’s all said and done.
