2020 NFL Mock Draft, Week 5: SEC dominates first round
The New Orleans Saints are led by one of the greatest quarterbacks to play the game in Drew Brees. The only negative is Brees is nearing the end of his career. So instead of waiting for a predecessor, the Saints should draft his prodigy and let him learn for a season or two under Brees.
No one better at this point in the draft than Jordan Love out of Utah State to take on the challenge of replacing the future Hall of Famer.
Love has generated a lot of buzz from NFL scouts over the past year but is unknown by most football fans. Love has all the measurables for a NFL quarterback and has shown flashes of his skills so far this season. He will be a project, and with the right mentor, has high upside to succeed in this league.
This is a great fit for a team that is filled with tons of young talent that will not want to miss a step when Brees walks away from the game.
