Scouting Report. Wisconsin. Jonathan Taylor. player. Pick Analysis. RB. 23. 13

The Los Angeles Chargers could be in the market for a new running back after the 2019 season comes to end. Melvin Gordon has ended his holdout but it doesn’t seem that his future has him residing with the Chargers.

So the Chargers go out and get themselves another Badger in Jonathan Taylor who is as good of a prospect has Saquon Barkley and Ezekiel Elliott. Taylor has easily been the best back in all of college football dating back to last season.

Taylor has the ability to either pick up the first down on short-yardage situations and the ability to break off a big run almost at will. He is patient behind the line and as soon as he sees his opening, he hits the hole and his hard to bring down.

Taylor could join his comparisons by being drafted in the top 10 and even the top five of the draft but he could fall as many teams have higher needs than a running back. The Chargers on the other hand will take Taylor almost immediately if he falls to them in the draft.
