2020 NFL Mock Draft, Week 5: SEC dominates first round
The Cleveland Browns almost have it altogether to being a legitimate contender in the AFC. While this could be a pick traded away to provide more clarity, the Browns this time decide to draft a top-five talent in Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas.
Thomas, a second-team All-American just a year ago, not only has the body size but the long arms and quick feet to protect Baker Mayfield’s blindside.
One noteworthy stat of Thomas is he has spent a full season at both tackle spots and excelled in both, showing off both his talent and IQ.
Any quarterback would be lucky to have Thomas as their lead bodyguard, and every team within the top-10 will have his name on the draft board. The game is won in the trenches and with their defensive line built, the Browns will look to rival that with their offensive line.
