1. Auburn’s road ahead is still difficult

Auburn has been tremendous through September. They have wins over Oregon and Texas A&M, and now a blowout over a respectable SEC foe. It’s been an exciting start on the plains, but this is no time to sit back.

Next week, the Tigers will travel to The Swamp to take on the ninth-ranked Florida Gators. There’s not a single home game for Auburn during the month of October, and it wraps up with a trip to Death Valley for a meeting with LSU.

November is, well, November. Tiger fans know it well. Georgia and Alabama, plus another SEC matchup that opens up the month.

The plains are full of hype, as they should be. This team looks far better than many expected, and they’ve racked up huge win after huge win.

However, if this team is going to reach the pinnacle of the sport, they’ll have to avoid several more landmines along the way.
