Ohio State Football: 3 takeaways from dominant win over Nebraska
1. Buckeye shift moves to Michigan State
As Ryan Day and Ohio State turn their attention to a home date with 25th ranked Michigan State, they couldn’t be on more of a roll. Against Nebraska, the Buckeyes were once again firing on all cylinders.
Justin Fields went 15-of-21 for 212 yards and three touchdowns. Much like fellow transfer Jalen Hurts at Oklahoma, Fields is silencing the doubters week after week.
On the ground, things were moving similarly smoothly. JK Dobbins carried the ball 24 times for 177 yards. Master Teague had 77 yards on 12 rushes, and scored twice. Fields even got in on the action, gaining 72 yards on 12 carries, and scoring once on the ground as well.
Hosting the Spartans will be the biggest test of the Buckeyes’ season. However, the way this team has dominated everyone they’ve played, even that may not end up being a test.
