Joe Burrow and the LSU Tigers did not play this week, but he has done so much already this season that Burrow remains in the top three. Don’t forget about him just because he didn’t throw for another 400 yards and four touchdowns this week.

LSU can always go as far as a quarterback can take them. With Joe Burrow and the new offensive system on campus, the Tigers can make it to the national championship. They have plenty of obstacles in their path, but keep an eye out for the Tigers as the season progresses.
You don’t want to wish away a single day of the college football season, but I am sure plenty of fans wish we could simply fast forward to early November, where Joe Burrow and Tua Tagovailoa will clash in Bryant-Denny Stadium. They say that voters remember November.
If that’s the case, the Heisman Trophy might be won in that game. It reminds me of when Leonard Fournette played against Alabama as the Heisman favorite, but Derrick Henry left as the frontrunner. Perhaps either of these quarterbacks could have the performance necessary to win the trophy against their opponent in early November.
Burrow and LSU have challenges before they face Alabama, but that is the game that will define both the Heisman race and this college football season.
