Pick Analysis. Offensive Tackle. Trey Adams. 17. player. Scouting Report. 54. Washington Huskies

Washington’s Trey Adams seemed like a first round-lock a season ago, but an injury forced him to return to the Huskies and become a redshirt senior. The Philadelphia Eagles, who needed help along the line this season and certainly will next, seems like the perfect player to succeed Jason Peters at left tackle.

Peters, who’ll turn 38 in January, has had an All-Pro career, but he’s simply not moving like he used to.

Meanwhile, Adams has been a staple for the Huskies at left tackle when healthy. He earned All-Pac 12 and All-American honors back in 2016 as a sophomore and was on preseason lists for those awards heading into the 2019 campaign; Adams is also on the Outland Trophy Watch List.

At 6-foot-8 and 314 pounds, Adams has elite size for a left tackle. Save for a position change, he’d be protecting quarterback Carson Wentz’s blindside as an Eagle. Wentz has dealt with a few injuries already in his young career, so keeping him upright and healthy should be the ultimate goal of the Eagles’ franchise. Adams would certainly help in doing that.
