Pick Analysis. Travis Etienne. 21. player. Scouting Report. Running Back. Clemson Tigers. 16

Running back Frank Gore, the ageless wonder, is somehow still churning out yards in the NFL, but the Buffalo Bills will need to find a long-term solution at the position sooner or later. And Clemson’s Travis Etienne could fall right into their lap at No. 21.

The Tigers’ running back has benefited nicely from having talented college teammates, but he’s also been the main focus of opponents for awhile now. After a solid freshman season (107 rush attempts, 766 yards, 13 touchdowns), Etienne exploded in 2018 as he racked up 204 carries, 1,658 yards and 24 touchdowns. During that season, Clemson was dealing with a change at quarterback. Etienne still dominated on their trek to a CFP National Championship.

At 5-foot-10 and 215 pounds, Etienne’s got prototypical size for a NFL running back. And while he hasn’t been heavily involved in the passing attack, he’s shown glimpses that it won’t be a hard transition if he’s asked to do so at the next level.
