22. player. Wide Receiver. Michigan Wolverines. Donovan Peoples-Jones. 46. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Assuming the Indianapolis Colts roll with recently-extended quarterback Jacoby Brissett into the 2020 season, adding a wide receiver to his arsenal seems like a safe bet. And a big target like Michigan’s Donovan Peoples-Jones would help immediately.

Peoples-Jones is just a junior for the Wolverines, but with question marks surrounding that program, chasing the  NFL dream in the immediate future doesn’t sound like a terrible plan.

The 6-foot-2 Detroit-native hasn’t blown anybody away in 2019, recording only five catches for 67 yards and a single score, but on last year’s much-more competent Wolverine squad, he posted totals of 47 catches, 612 yards and eight touchdowns. Those numbers aren’t blowing anybody away either, but for a run-heavy Harbaugh team, Peoples-Jones stood out.

Peoples-Jones has been dealing with a foot injury this season, but at his height, he’ll receive plenty of interest from NFL teams regardless if he plays every week or not.
