Another first round pick for the Miami Dolphins, this one acquired from the Houston Texans, lands them possibly the most NFL-ready wide receiver in the entire player pool: Colorado’s Laviska Shenault.

Shenault is 6-foot-2, but is also listed at 220 pounds — that’s a whole lot of body at wide receiver. And he’s been a handful for opponents in college, even though he only has one real year of playing time. As a sophomore in 2018, Shenault snagged 86 catches for 1,011 yards and six touchdowns. He also carried the ball 17 times and scored on five of them.

Colorado doesn’t get much attention in college football anymore, especially since they’re in the Pac-12 now, but Shenault is doing his best to change that. He’s tallied 17 receptions through four games this year, with 226 yards and two scores to show for. The Buffaloes currently sit atop the Pac-12 South with plenty of big games remaining.

If Shenuault’s able to influence some of those games and the Buffaloes win, he could easily rise up 2020 draft boards.
