Pick Analysis. Quarterback. 25. player. Scouting Report. Washington Huskies. Jacob Eason. 60

The Minnesota Vikings might not think they’re in the market for a quarterback, but after four consecutive underwhelming performances by Kirk Cousins to start the 2019 season, it’s time to think of a change. Washington’s Jacob Eason, formerly of the Georgia Bulldogs, would be the perfect replacement.

More from NFL Draft

At 6-foot-6 and 227 pounds, Eason has excellent size for a quarterback. He started as a true freshman for the Bulldogs in 2016, throwing 16 touchdowns to just eight interceptions. And while he lost the starting gig the following year, he found a home in Washington that’s allowing him to flourish once again.

In his first season for the Huskies, Eason’s led them to a 4-1 record while completing 70 percent of his passes and having a touchdown-to-interception ratio of 10-2. He won’t have the same spotlight as if he had stayed at Georgia, but the Huskies still have two ranked opponents on their schedule and a great opportunity to compete for the Pac-12 Championship.
