4. George Holani will be RB1

We might be jumping the gun here for the true freshman to take over so early. This would be totally justified the way George Holani has been running through just four games. In just 47 rushes, Holani has 222 yards and is averaging 4.7 yards a carry. Holani is also a great threat out of the backfield and would be a great change of pace back for the Broncos.

Regular starter Robert Mahone has been good to begin the season, but there has been a little extra spark when the two true freshmen Hank Bachmeier and Holani share the backfield together. If Holani does not start games, you should see even more carries go his way giving the Broncos great experience.

To add on, Mahone has been hampered by a hamstring injury throughout games that you can visibly see him in pain with. It might be time to make the switch full time if Mahone doesn’t get healthy quick. The first October matchup could be the perfect time to do this against a weak UNLV team.
