2. Broncos flex G5 muscle

Boise State has been one of the best group of five teams for over 10 years now. With three New Year’s Six bowl wins in the last 12 years, much of the Group of Five has tried to imitate what Boise State has done. This year may be no different. Starting the season 4-0 and looking like they have loads of potential for not just this year but for the years after as well.

Boise State plays a weak UNLV team coming off of a bye to start their October, that should get them prepared for Hawaii and BYU to round out the month. Although both Hawaii and BYU have shown flashes of teams that could give anyone a run for their money, Boise State should be equally if not better prepared for both of these teams.

Style points matter when it comes to the Group of Five because there are multiple conferences full of teams fighting for just one spot in the New Year’s Six bowls.

Boise State will try to earn style points of their own in October, trying to go 7-0 ahead of UCF and SMU, the only way to do that is not just to win, but show everyone just how good you are. Expect Boise State to come out of the gates on fire after a bye week and show the country they are the best G5 team.
