We are about halfway to the end of the college football season already and it seems to be going quickly. Let’s talk bold predictions for Week 6.

Week 5 brought some near upsets, some blowouts and some unexpectedly close matchups.

Alabama took over the top spot and Clemson showed they are beatable with a close matchup with North Carolina. Ohio State blew past Nebraska, moving into the top four.

Now, we move onto another week of those guys likely blowing past the competition and everyone else trying to keep up.

Let’s talk bold predictions, shall we?

5. Oklahoma State vs. Texas Tech is close-ish

The Longhorns and the Sooners sit atop the Big 12, though I still have questions about the Longhorns defensively but that will come to light sooner rather than later. Speaking of the Longhorns, though, the matchup I will be discussing here includes their last opponent: Oklahoma State.

It was a close game for sure and now the Cowboys prepare to take on Texas Tech — the team that was blown out by the Oklahoma Sooners just a week ago.

Out of all the bigger games this week, this one will be the closest. Now, I’m not saying it’ll come down to one possession or anything like that. I’m not sure Texas Tech has the offense for that and Oklahoma State has nothing but offense. I’m thinking this one stays within two scores, though the Cowboys get revenge for a loss a season ago to the Red Raiders.

It may stay closer through the first half, but Oklahoma State runs away with it in the second.
