Memphis has more than just AAC championship hopes this year, they have real dreams to reach a New Year’s Six bowl and beat UCF out for this spot that they have had two years in a row. The Tigers are off to a great start going undefeated and coming into October 4-0. Their wins over Ole Miss and then Navy last week showed that the Tigers may be the real deal.

UL-Monroe has not shown that they could be a consistent team from week to week. They took Florida State into overtime only to lose 45-44 and then got beat up by Iowa State on the road 72-20. They have had some really good offensive performances but have not been able to stop just about anybody. This is why they are primed for a thriller at home.

UL-Monroe is 2-2 and looking to turn around their season at home in Louisiana, they have that chance on Saturday afternoon. The Warhawks are 14-point underdogs but could show signs of life if they are able to put a couple of points on the board early. Memphis will have to really show up if the want to remain undefeated.
