3. UCF defense impresses

UCF is known for their high powered offense and rightfully so. Averaging 49 points a game and having one of the best freshman quarterbacks in the country have the UCF faithful excited about the present and the future. What you may have not seen is how well they have actually been playing on the other side of the ball.

With a pick-six in last week’s game against UConn, UCF was able to flex their muscle and go into the half up 42-0. The defense was really what turned all of the momenta around for them in each of their first five games.

The Knight defense has four interceptions and five forced fumbles on the season. It will be interesting to see if they can bring up that same kind of energy on the road against the Bearcats.

A key to beating any team on the road is taking the crowd out of the game early, this one is no different. Expect UCF to come out firing on offense and hold the Bearcats on defense to make a huge difference.
