1. Pressure the quarterback

Boise State has been able to get to the quarterback as well as anyone has to begin the season.

With one of the most intriguing prospects that have many NFL teams waiting in the wings in Curtis Weaver, the Broncos have been nasty to deal with upfront. Weaver comes into the game with six sacks and  17 total tackles.

Boise State could enjoy a really fun day on defense if they are able to pressure the quarterback. UNLV struggles with turnovers and it could be a perfect storm for a Boise State team that has not had many opportunities.

Look for UNLV to struggle to move the ball against the defensive line and try to go over the top. The secondary for Boise State could be tested all day, even if the Broncos are able to get to the QB.
