3. Florida is unable to contain Bo Nix

One of the biggest unknowns coming into this season for the Auburn Tigers was how Bo Nix would perform at the quarterback position. He was suspect at the beginning of the Oregon game to start the season. However, he came on strong at the end of the game and lead the Tigers to victory. Since then, he hasn’t looked back.

Bo has thrown for 980 yards on 125 attempts. He takes a lot of chances down field and that’s why his completion rate leaves something to be desired at 58 percent. He has only thrown two interceptions so even though he takes chances he doesn’t put the ball in harms way too often.

Florida does have a very good defense statistically, except for the secondary. Against less than stellar defense, the Gators have allowed almost 200 passing yards per game. They have also allowed almost 11 yards per completion.

Eli Stove and Seth Williams should be open for the majority of the evening with a suspect secondary. If the Tigers can buy some time for Nix, he should be able to pick the Gators apart. I see them buying him just enough time to get the job done as Nix throws for 250-plus yards and a touchdown.
