2. Stay hot on defense

The Ohio State defense has been one of the hottest teams on defense through the first half of the season. With seven interceptions and 24, yes 24 sacks on the year, the Buckeye defense looks like one of the top defenses in the whole country looking to go against another top defense.

This game looks to be perfect for Ohio State’s defense. Michigan State has not moved the ball well and has had trouble at times scoring. Only able to put up seven points at home to Arizona State against one of the only ranked matchups they have faced, it is a cause for concern for the Spartan faithful that they will struggle some more against the Buckeyes.

Brian Lewerke is at the helm for the Spartans at quarterback and has had a solid year. He has not been tested in the clutch and that could play out to be a big factor against a defense that is going to force Lewerke to throw in tight windows and bring pressure all day long. The Ohio State defense should remain a hot defensive team and show the Big Ten that they still remain one of the best in the country.
