Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 7. player. Florida Gators. 840. won 24-13 vs. No. 7 Auburn. 10/12 at LSU

Florida is going to leapfrog a few teams in the AP Top 25 after taking down No. 7 Auburn in an interdivisional SEC showdown between top-10 programs. The Gators got a late 88-yard touchdown from Lamical Perine to shore up a 24-13 win over the Tigers and book their place comfortably in the single digits of this week’s poll.

Dan Mullen and the crowd at the Swamp suffered a scare in the second quarter when quarterback Kyle Trask went down with an MCL sprain, but he was able to return in the second half. Trask finished the day with 234 yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-31 passing as the Gators moved to 6-0 for the first time in 13 years.

Florida will put their undefeated record on the line once again in Week 7 in another top-10 showdown against LSU in Baton Rouge. If the Gators prevail in Death Valley, they will continue their climb up the rankings and start to enter the conversation as a real threat to overtake Georgia in the SEC East and a possible College Football Playoff spot.
