College GameDay is headed to Gainesville on Saturday morning as Florida hosts Auburn in a major Week 6 battle for SEC bragging rights.
We are almost at the halfway mark of the regular season and College GameDay is getting to pick from better games each and every week.
This time around, the crew will be headed to Gainesville for a monster SEC matchup between top-10 foes in Auburn and Florida. The Gators lost Feleipe Franks for the season so many are counting them out in this one already but the Tigers are led by a true freshman gunslinger in Bo Nix.
Florida is ranked No. 10 in the country even with a backup quarterback in Kyle Trask leading the way. The Gator defense has been strong and Trask has been efficient and unfazed by the spotlight.
Auburn is the No. 7 team in college football and Nix is picking up steam. He’s been aided by an elite defense, namely that frightening line, but he is gaining confidence each week.
One coach will be fighting for his job for the rest of the season in Gus Malzahn while the other is already exceeding expectations (Dan Mullen). Who will come out on top of this top-10 SEC battle on Saturday afternoon?
