1. TCU needs to settle on a QB

Gary Patterson, Sonnie Cumbie and the Horned Frogs’ offensive staff need to make a choice on what they want to do at the quarterback position.

If they want to be conservative and rely on their defense, then they should go with Kansas State Alex Delton. If they can live with freshman mistakes, but get really good plays — like he showed today — go with Max Duggan.

Delton can run the offense, but isn’t dynamic. Duggan is the playmaker. You have an opportunity to develop and grow a young quarterback with tremendous ball skills; whatever they choose they need to make a commitment, and stop pulling either quarterback when they make a mistake.

It’s obvious that the Horned Frogs have a big decision to make moving forward in Big 12 play.
