2. The top 10s of October

This month, LSU will take on two teams that are currently in the top 10 in the nation. They face off against currently undefeated Florida Gators first. LSU fans and players will remember last season’s matchup against the Gators. Florida derailed LSU’s 5-0 start with a 27-19 domination and all but ended their chances for any major success last season.

Auburn is the other currently undefeated top 10 team that LSU faces this month. Last year saw the game end with only one point separating the two teams and LSU coming out on top. I believe it is safe to say that both of these teams are in a different realm this year than they were last year. The battle between these two Tigers may very well be one of the best games of the season in the country.

LSU will be undefeated against the top 10 teams that it faces in the month of October. The reason why I believe that is the case is the offense. Even with the LSU defense not being where it has in years past, I don’t see another team outside of Alabama in the SEC that can keep pace with their offense.
