2. Justin Fields Heisman bound?

Again, no, not yet. But, the chances that Justin Fields finds himself in New York as a Heisman Finalist at the end of the season is much better than Ohio State making the College Football Playoff…at this very moment.

Frankly, there are a handful of teams that are still in contention to make the playoff. However, the Heisman field is relatively small. The relevant other Heisman contenders are: Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama), Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma), Joe Burrow (LSU), and Jonathan Taylor (Wisconsin).

Ohio State’s offensive success against Michigan State was sparked by Fields’ mobility as he got out of the pocket and found yardage any way he could. The sophomore quarterback finished with two touchdowns in the air and one on the ground.

Ryan Day is a great offensive mind, and the Buckeyes have tons of talented weapons on their team. However, Justin Fields is what keeps train of offensive production running weekly. As one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the bunch, he may end up being the Heisman winner, especially if Ohio State keeps winning.
