2. Cincinnati can win the AAC

Cincinnati has not even broken the top 25 yet in 2019 in any of the national polls. A team that is now 4-1 and had an ugly loss to Ohio State is looking better and better by the week. A big win over No. 16 UCF this week has Cincinnati as the team to beat now in the American East and they have a 74 percent chance now of taking home the conference championship.

Cincinnati has a lot of room for improvement on offense since it has not been able to move the ball as well as it has wanted. They have, however, played great on defense, forcing turnovers down the stretch and can compete with just about anyone in the country.

Expect the Bearcats to be able to break the top 25 this week and be one of the teams to watch in the Group of Five moving forward. They may have an epic showdown with the SMU coming in the AAC championship down the line but we will have to see Cincinnati survive through Memphis and Temple in November.
