Week 7 is one of the most exciting slates we have seen by far this college football season. Have a free Saturday? Let’s talk binge-watching, shall we?

Things are getting exciting in the world of college football and this week is no different. There are at least two games that have major College Football Playoff implications and others that have the chance to do that as well. Last week wasn’t my best, as I only finished 4-4, but I still sit 49-21 on the season, so I guess it isn’t too bad.

So, without further ado, let’s start with Saturday mornings matchups.

No. 3 Georgia at South Carolina (12 p.m. ET on ESPN)

I don’t picture South Carolina being too much of a challenge for the Bulldogs, but this will still be a fun one if you are trying to avoid watching the other big game in this time slot for whatever reason — which we will discuss here in a minute. Georgia has been rock solid this season and it doesn’t seem to be letting up as they get into the meat of SEC play.

Prediction: This is Georgia’s game from the jump. South Carolina puts up points, but it isn’t enough to get much of anything going as the Bulldogs get yet another victory.

No. 6 Oklahoma vs. No. 11 Texas (12 p.m. ET on FOX)

This is the game that has people excited, at least in Texas and Oklahoma. Last season, this game almost kept the Sooners out of the Playoff. It was the win in the Big 12 Championship that cashed the ticket from Oklahoma. Now, Texas and their banged-up defense and running back corps will head to Dallas to take on a rolling Oklahoma team lead by Jalen Hurts. This one is shaping up to be a shootout for sure.

Prediction: While I think this will be a shootout, I don’t think Texas has the ability to keep up with Jalen Hurts when it comes down to it. This one will shape up much like Texas’ matchup with LSU.
